That's me on 15th tee at Cabot Links

I am proud to have grown up on the Deepdale Road just outside Inverness. At an early age, I had learned from my parents John and Christena, to appreciate the beauty of our island and everything it has to offer. In 2014 I picked up a used canon T3i camera and have not looked back. I have a keen interest in both golf course and beach photography. My interest in golf dates back to the days when we would hitch-hike to the golf course in Margaree Forks and play a round for $3. I presently live in Sydney where I have been a school teacher for over 30 years. My career has allowed me to spend my summers in Inverness with my wife Alice and our 5 children. When I grew up in Inverness there were enough kids in town to have 6 little league ball teams as well as 4 hockey teams at each level. It was a great place to grow up. Since then things have been on a steady decline but there is now new hope for our area. Because of Cabot Golf people from all over the world are discovering what we always knew. Inverness with its golden beaches, spectacular sunsets and now world class golf is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is my intent to capture this beauty and share it through my photography.  Thanks for checking out my site, James MacLellan
